NorthStar Christmas Lights is operated by Northstar Christmas Lights LLC, a Kansas company based in Wichita. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit northstarlightsict.com, request a quote on our website, or fill out one of our forms on Facebook or Instagram, and how we use it.
What we collect
When you ask for a quote, we collect the information you choose to give us:
- Your name, phone number and email address
- Your property address and ZIP code
- Details about your home and project, such as building type, number of stories, budget range and any notes you add
If you submit a lead form on Facebook or Instagram, Meta may fill in some of these fields from your profile. You can review and edit them before you submit.
Like most websites, we also receive basic technical information when you visit, such as your browser type, device and the pages you view. Our site uses the Meta Pixel, which helps us measure how our ads perform and show our ads to people likely to be interested.
How we use it
- To prepare and send your quote
- To contact you by phone call, text message or email about your quote and your installation
- To schedule, perform, maintain and take down your lights
- To send occasional seasonal reminders, such as booking for next year. You can opt out at any time.
- To understand which ads and pages work so we can improve them
Text messages
If you give us your phone number, you agree that we may call or text you about your quote and service. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to stop receiving them, or HELP for help. We do not share your phone number with third parties for their own marketing.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with other companies for their own marketing. We share it only with service providers that help us run the business, and only so they can do that work for us. These include our website host, the tools we use to receive form submissions and send notifications, our email and spreadsheet provider, our scheduling and invoicing software, and Meta for ads and lead forms. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Cookies and ad tracking
The Meta Pixel uses cookies and similar technology. You can control ad personalization in your Facebook and Instagram ad settings, and you can block or clear cookies in your browser settings. Blocking cookies will not stop you from requesting a quote.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while you are a customer or prospective customer, and for as long as we need it for records, warranty and tax purposes. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct or delete the information we have about you, or to stop contacting you. Email contact@northstarlightsict.com or call or text (316) 688-4412 and we will take care of it.
Security
We use reputable service providers and limit access to your information to the people who need it to serve you. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share with us.
Children
Our services are for homeowners and businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
